An apprenticeship is a modern, hands-on way to train for a career. It’s a full-time job involving studying and on-the-job training, giving you work-ready skills and an industry-recognised qualification. You also get to earn while you learn and unlock a world of possibilities.

This Digital and Tech apprenticeship combines work-based learning with academic study to ensure candidates have the skills required to meet organisational needs and industry standards within the digital and technology landscape.

This apprenticeship programme has been designed with QA and employers to ensure that young people are equipped with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed in digital and tech roles within any sector.

Knowledge and skills are assessed in realistic situations to mirror real-world scenarios, fostering authentic and inclusive opportunities. The curriculum intends to develop the core knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard, and the programme modules and Learning Outcomes are mapped to the apprenticeship standard accordingly.

What support will I get?

You’ll have a whole team behind you to help you get the most out of your apprenticeship, including:

  • Your line manager
  • A skills coach
  • A safeguarding specialist
  • A learning support specialist

What qualifications do I need?

There are no set entry requirements for learners.

The only thing to remember is that your job role must fit your chosen apprenticeship qualification, allowing you to complete the relevant modules. QA will undertake a role-matching exercise to help you.
